TAIEX Workshop in North Macedonia
Balkan Energy School experts implemented a TAIEX (Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument) Workshop financed by the European Commission. The main aim of the initiative has been to guide the colleagues of the Energy Water Services and Municipal Waste Management Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia on the transposition of the EU electricity legislation incorporated in the Energy Community acquis.
Balkan Energy School Experts from Italy (ARERA) and Greece (RAAEY) have explained the objectives of the policy and provided advice on how the objectives of the main policies are being implemented in their Member States. The provisions of these information are intended to ensure that Government officials from North Macedonia to be fully informed of the nature and implications of the EU electricity legislation.
