BES joined the event “CEI Fund at the EBRD contributed by Italy”
On 7th May, BES member ERC – Energy and Water Regulatory Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia, represented by Merita Dema, participated in an important event in Skopje titled “CEI Fund at the EBRD Contributed by Italy.”
The event was organized by the Italian Embassy in Skopje, in collaboration with the Central European Initiative (CEI) Executive Secretariat and the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) Resident Office. It aimed to highlight projects and initiatives in North Macedonia financed by Italy through the CEI Fund at the EBRD.
The event highlighted initiatives supported under the CEI–EBRD cooperation, with a particular focus on their impact in terms of investment in North Macedonia. Notably, North Macedonia, along with other BES members, is currently benefiting from the Know-How Exchange Programme (KEP), with the main scope to integrate the Euro-Balkan energy markets. These projects are co-financed by CEI with a fund at EBRD contributed by Italy.
