BES Featured at MEDREG–MEDTSO Workshop on Mediterranean Electricity Market Integration
The Balkan Energy School (BES) is pleased to share key insights from Mr. Elton Radheshi’s from Albanian Regulator presentation delivered at the MEDREG–MEDTSO Workshop titled “Towards an Interconnected Mediterranean Electricity Market: Overcoming Technical and Policy Barriers” held in Antalya on June 27, 2025.
Mr. Radheshi highlighted the role of the Balkan Energy School (BES) and addressed the participants about the regional implications of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)—a key EU climate policy tool—and underscored the importance of coordinated efforts to ensure its effective implementation across the Balkans. These efforts are being advanced through dedicated workshops, capacity-building sessions, and policy publications, all of which are made available through the BES platform.
