Second Energy Table Italy – Montenegro
Promote dialogue between Italy and Montenegro to foster the integration of European and Balkan energy markets. This is the objective of the Second Energy Table Italy – Montenegro in Podgorica, organized by the Italian Embassy in Montenegro. The opportunity to discuss the evolution of the Montenegrin electricity market, as well as provide an update on the operation of the MONITA interconnecting cable and on recent developments of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs, present with their ministers.
The initiative is promoted by ARERA in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security and the Balkan Energy School. On 24 May in Rome, the first meeting was held between the two regulators ARERA and REGAGEN, the two energy ministries, the two transmission operators TERNA and CGES and the two energy exchanges, GME and Belen, of the two countries.

ARERA is promoter and co-founder of the Balkan Energy School and holds the chairmanship with its Board Member, Mr. Stefano Saglia.
