On 27th May, Mr. Sasa Lukic from SERC (State Electricity Regulatory Commission) joined the same event in Sarajevo. The initiative aimed to promote the “CEI Fund at the EBRD, contributed by Italy”.
The events were organized by the Italian Embassies in Podgorica and Sarajevo, in collaboration with the Central European Initiative (CEI) Executive Secretariat and the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) Resident Office. They highlighted the importance of the Know-How Exchange Programme (KEP) in supporting the development of energy markets in both countries. The programme is financed by Italy through the CEI Fund at the EBRD.
The events emphasized initiatives supported through CEI–EBRD cooperation, with particular emphasis on their contribution to fostering investment in Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Both countries, together with other members of the Balkan Energy School (BES), are currently benefiting from the Know-How Exchange Programme (KEP), which is designed to advance the integration of Euro-Balkan energy markets. These projects are co-financed by the CEI with a fund at the EBRD, contributed by Italy.
